A badass kayaking river guide, Paul Templer, was swallowed by a Hippo in Africa. And he lived to tell about it. His story is absolutely unbelievable. Templer gave his terrifying account to The Guardian , and here's just a slice: I reached over to grab his outstretched hand but as our fingers were about to touch, I was engulfed in darkness.
