Walking home in Manhattan, Union Square on Nov 1st 2012 after Hurricane Sandy left us in the dark
It's really dark in my neighborhood of downtown Manhattan after Hurricane Sandy hit. This is union square NYC which is normally busy & fill of light. Now, it is only 5pm but pitch black dark & people are walking around with flashlights trying to get info or make their way home safely.
